- Price the board. Check with your supplier.

Straight answers
How do I work out how many plasterboard sheets I need?
Add up the wall and ceiling area, take off doors and windows, add waste, and divide by the sheet's area. The calculator does each step and shows it.
Should I take windows off?
Yes, add the total area of doors and windows. Small openings still create offcuts, which the waste allowance covers.
1200 or 1350 wide?
Pick what you're hanging. 1350 sheets often suit 2.7 m ceilings hung horizontally.
Running more than a few jobs?
This works out the sheets for one job. Footing measures off your plans and turns the quantities into a quote, or a request for quotes your suppliers can price from their phone.
