Won is a project, not a spreadsheet.
Enquiries sit on a kanban before a client or a project exists. Move them through your stages. Mark one won and Footing creates the client, the site and the project in one go, then links them back to the lead.

Won lands here.
What you get.
Kanban of enquiries
Open leads sit on a board, one column per stage. Drag them on the desktop; move them from the lead on the phone.
Your stages
The default run is New Enquiry through Follow-Up. Rename, reorder or replace them. Won, lost and parked are outcomes, not columns.
Won becomes a project
Mark a lead won and Footing creates the client, the site and the project in one transaction, then leaves the links on the enquiry.
Going cold
Seven days with no logged contact and the lead flags on the board and in the command centre.
Park it on purpose
Not now is a status. Park a lead as cold and set a date to chase it again.
Contact on the record
Notes and emails file on the lead. A logged contact resets the goes-cold clock. Editing the lead does not.
How it works
File the enquiry
Title, contact, a suburb if that is all you have, and an estimated value. It lands in the first stage of your pipeline.
Move it through the board
Contacted, estimating, quote sent, follow-up — or the stages you set. A lead going quiet flags itself so you chase from the board, not from memory.
Mark it won
Client, site and project are created together from the lead. The job starts from the enquiry, not a blank record you key in again.
Straight answers.
What happens when I mark a lead won?
Footing creates the client from the contact or company, the site, and the project in one go, then links them back to the lead. A full Australian site address is required at conversion. You open the project from the lead.
Can I change the stages?
Yes. Admins replace the stage list. Keep the keys stable when you rename a column. If you remove a stage that still holds open leads, you pick a fallback column for them. Won, lost and parked stay as outcomes, not stages.
What does going cold mean?
An open lead with no note or email logged in seven days. It flags on the board and in the command centre. Logging a contact resets the clock. Editing the lead's details does not.
Do I need a client record first?
No. File the enquiry with a name. Repeat business can link to an existing client. Conversion mints a client if there isn't one, so you are not creating the card twice.
Is this a CRM?
It is the pipeline before the job exists: stages, follow-up, and conversion into a project. It is not a separate sales tool you export out of to start the work.
