Straight answers

How many pavers per square metre?

Divide one square metre by the area of one paver. A 400 × 400 mm paver is 0.16 m², so about 6.25 per m² before waste. The calculator does it for any size.

How much bedding sand do I need?

Area × bedding depth. Add your depth, or leave it blank for a usual figure, and the calculator shows the volume.

Does it include cuts?

The waste allowance covers cuts and breakages. Patterns with lots of cuts need more, so set your own percentage if you need to.

Running more than a few jobs?

This works out one area. Footing measures off your plans and turns the quantities into a quote, or a request for quotes your suppliers can price from their phone.
